Description

Our Business:

We aim to provide a unique experience and place ourselves firmly as a third locus of gravitation between the Berg and the coast.

Estcourt has had a low profile in the tourism industry in spite of very attractive historical and cultural sites, nature reserves, ample accommodation and its location on the route between Johannesburg and Durban.

Our concept of immersing guests in Zulu culture provides a new and exciting adventure for them. This is not just another cultural village. It is a hub – a Zulu homestead that hosts, orientates, entertains and also exposes guests to real life situations in the surrounding areas of modern Zulu lifestyle.

KwaHlangabeza believes that guests should not be mere spectators of our culture; they need to experience it fully and live it for the duration of their stay at KwaHlangabeza.

We have entered into partnership with KZN Wildlife which has pledged its support to provide conservation mentorship as this hub is a Conservancy adjacent to a nature reserve.

Our Values:
  • Authenticity
  • Unconditional hospitality
  • Innovation
  • Partnership

On Offer:

  • An integrated hospitality experience for leisure and/or adventure seeking guests.
  • Exciting packages for the incentive market.
  • Conference and special events venue for small groups.
  • Packages for corporate day trip meetings.
  • Exposure to nature, wildlife and cultural
    entertainment.

Our Facilities:

  • 8 double rooms for accommodation, including one dedicated to be a traditional Zulu bedroom (Ilawu) and a honeymoon suite.

  • A restaurant with braai boma which serves traditional Zulu cuisine, modern day township meals and continental dishes.

  • A dance arena which is also a venue for special events.

  • Tour guides into surrounding areas including fishing, game drives and nature walks.
