We do not allow guests to walk or drive around un-guided under any circumstances - no exceptions will be made. We do not have any self catering facilities & do not allow quad bikes.

Sungulwane Hills Game Lodge is a unique and picturesque privately owned  Game farm located at the foothills of the Lebombo Mountains in the iSimangaliso World Heritage Site. (previously known as the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park)

The farm owned by the well-known Zululand ‘trading’ family, the Morrison’s  of Makakatana on the Western shores of Lake St Lucia, was formerly a cattle farm. With their passion for wildlife and conservation, John and Bruce Morrison have fenced the farm, and worked extremely hard to restore it to its natural habitat.

Sungulwane Hills Game Lodge offers comfortable Three Star Graded accommodation in Zululand. Our rates include a full English breakfast and a gourmet Farm Style three course dinner, which you can enjoy in our cosy dining facility.

Sungulwane Hills Game Lodge offers wonderful and exciting game drives in the Sungulwane Conservancy.

Sungulwane Hills Game Lodge is in close proximity to the iSimangaliso Wetlands Park, wich offers ecotourists some of the most diverse wildlife and outdoor experiences imagineable .

The name was recently changed from Greater St Lucia Wetlands Park to iSimangaliso Wetland Park, to reflect the many areas that make up the 220 000 ha Game Park, namely Kosi Bay, Lake Sibaya, Sodwana Bay, Mkuze Game Reserve, False Bay, Fanies Island, Charters Creek, Lake St Lucia and Cape Vidal. All these wonderfull places which are a must for exploring tourists are easisly accessible from Sungulwane Hills Game Lodge.
