Description

TGCSA 4 Star graded Self-catering cottage,in the heart of the Midlands, 4km from Michaelhouse and within easy reach of many Private Schools. Simple access 200m off the R103. The cottage has been tastefully converted and is situated on a small Stud Farm where we breed quality children s ponies. Trout fishing & Golf can be arranged. The cottage has beautiful all round views of the hills in the Balgowan valley.

We are on the Midlands Meander route, close to many good eating establishments, 15 mins from Midmar Dam. It is lovely walking,& bird watching countryside.
The cottage can accomodate 4 Adults and 3 children. It has two Double Bedrooms, 2 bathrooms; 1 with bath & 1 with shower. Sitting/dining room with fireplace and TV & M-Net. Attic upstairs with 3 beds. Fully fitted modern kitchen, Hob, oven, extractor fan, microwave, Fridge/freezer, etc. Large veranda with Braai, Table and chairs, under roof, looking out onto pretty garden, with shady trees. Electric blankets for all beds and electric heaters in bedrooms for the winter. The cottage is fully serviced.

You could also bring your horse or pony on holiday too!! Stable and paddock available at R50 per night. Lessons can be arranged with S.A.N.E.F. Instructor. Lovely outrides.

Directions

From Durban take N3, Turn off just past Midmar Dam at Howick/Tweedie off ramp. Turn left, =/- 1km, T junction, turn right R103, follow signs to Balgowan/ Nottingham Road.=/- 14km and 3 km past Lidgetton sign HUNTERS LODGE, Self-catering cottage Turn left over Railway line, 200m on left. From Nottingham Road take R103 and 5km past Balgowan sign HUNTERS LODGE self-catering cottage, turn right over railway line.
